The Shampoo Holy Grail!

Hello again, so, I realise that only a few weeks ago I uploaded a post on the Ultimate Blends Shampoo and spoke about how much I adore them.

Well...

I bought a new one that I hadn't tried yet and it is the peach/pink colored bottle, 'The Silky Smoother'

I have finally found the holy grail of shampoo's :O

Now I always thought, Aussie or Mane and Tail were the greatest gift, but at 8€ a bottle, where would you be going?

I got these in Tesco for half price for the bigger bottle and I am actually sad that they are nearly empty :( You will just hear reports on the news one of these days about a crazy woman filling a shopping trolly with half price shampoos and conditioners! Or fighting a woman for the last bottle!

I rinsed my hair out twice using this amazing potion and my hair was unbelievably soft and sleek afterwards. I was shocked! I also noticed it has made my hair grow a little bit longer? Ever since I've used it my hair has become healthier and shiny and I don't have to tear out strands when I brush it! It literally feels like you've just left the hairdressers after using this. You know that bouncy, shiny and great smelling hair? You can have it just by using this bottle. Because my hair was in dire straits, I am so thankful to this brand for repairing it as let's face it, we can't all afford the hairdressers :/

I have split ends, probably the length of my hair, but with this shampoo I notice it has made the ends feel so smooth you wouldn't notice :)

The hurrrrr <3
I cannot recommend it enough :)

Hope you all enjoyed :D

Thanks, as ever, for reading,

Review Time :)

Hello Again :) I had a shower this morning and upon using  my shampoo I decided, why not, I'll do a review :D

So for this blog I shall simply be reviewing The Garnier Ultimate Blends Shampoo range, because I am in love :)

I have only used the shampoo and conditioner of the range so far, but hear great things about the oil, treatment and dry shampoo :)

This morning I used that exact bottle of shampoo and my hair is so soft and easy to brush after! I have been comparing this to the Herbal essences brand and I would vote this one, hands down :)

It smells amazing and as you can see from above it is made with argan and camelia oils, both are known treatments for hair :)

So the next time you're in Penney's and spot a bottle, don't hesitate to give them a try, there are a few in the range worth trying out :)

Thanks for reading!!

Rimmel Lasting Finish 25H Foundation With Comfort Serum

Hey guys :D I'm back with a review of a foundation I bought recently, Rimmel's Lasting Finish 25H Foundation with comfort serum :)

To be perfectly honest, I cannot find much to fault this! I am in love with it :) I bought it for the amazing price of €6.99 in a local pharmacy along with some other makeup products which I will be reviewing soon also :)

I bought the foundation a bit darker than what I should but I apply it with a small bit of  a Catrice foundation that I also bought and it gives such an amazing dewy glow! At the end of the day it does start to appear quite patchy, but not nearly as bad as other foundations I have tried!

I have recently started applying Foundation with a sponge as it gives an amazing dewy unblemished look and to be honest it gives better coverage than any brush!

If you are looking for a new foundation then I suggest you buy this! Just make sure to but it in the correct shade ;) I bought mine in Ivory but I should really have bought it in Porcelain, especially as we're coming into Winter and skin get's way paler!  :)

Using the new foundation :)

I hope you find it as good as I did <3

As always,

Thanks for reading <3

Summer saviours :)

Heyyy everybody!! :) hope your all having an amazing summer like I am! :) The weather here in Ireland has been fab this past week, reaching 30 degrees some days! So who needs a holiday when you can just step outside! :D
home :)

The only downside to this weather, is that you have to take extra care of your body, because the suns powerful rays can take their toll on your skin and hair! :)

So in this blog I'm just going to suggest some products to protect you during the season :)

First of course, I suggest a high factor sun lotion and after sun cream. The one I find the best is Hawaiian Tropic factor 20 :) It actually works! :P Bonus is it smells amazing too like you've just stepped off the plane to a sunny country!

Where I live is in the west of Ireland, in a very rural part, where most people live on farms. Because I'm in the country alot, especially during this weather I notice I get a tonne of insect bites or nettle stings, even just from lying out on the lawn. What I recommend to help this is a cream called Anthisan :) Sometimes I even react to these and it can swell up and be extremely irritating :( But anthisan really cools it down and I notice an improvement almost immediately! :)
Just as you need SPF protection for your body, you will also need it for your lips! :) The best I find is Badger lip balm :) It's unscented, protects your lips from the sun as well as dehydration! It's even water resistant so you can go for a swim while wearing it! It's also completely organic, so you can relax your conscience about added chemicals and such :)

To protect your hair, especially from chlorine in the pool or ocean water, you should wash your hair before you go for a swim. Dry hair is extremely absorbent and can pick up chemicals etc like a sponge, at least if your hair is wet already it provides a layer to protect. I know it's a bit late to say it nearing the end of the season, but if your planning on cutting your hair do it before summer, or at least wait until mid-end of august. If your hair is damaged at the ends, the heat from the sun will only exaggerate your problem, so even if you wait until August, you can get it treated by your hairdresser and even use some conditioning treatment to repair it! If your on a budget try a homemade hair mask, I personally like the Honey and Olive Oil hair mask :)

To make this you will need: 1/4 cup of honey
1/4 cup of olive oil, coconut oil can also be used :)

First heat the honey for a few seconds on your cooker, after turning it off add the olive oil and stir it well. Allow the mixture to cool at room temperature. Apply it to the hair and scalp gently using your fingers, then wrap both your hair and scalp in a warm towel. To warm the towel all you need to do is dip the towel in warm water and rinse off excess water. Leave to settle for half an hour. When it is ready, remove the towel and wash out using shampoo. This mask is best suited to dry hair, which is perfect for the summer :)

One other tip I have, is make sure that you hydrate! Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate! Carry a bottle of water with you everywhere even if it's just driving to the shop to get food, keeping hydrated will prevent sunstroke and keep the body nourished and cool.

Ok everyone, until next time!! :D
